My name is Charlotte. I am an amateur linguist, would-be philospher, part-time mystic, and aspiring artist and musician. I started this website at the suggestion of a couple of friends and saw it as a nice alternative to modern social media sites. This blog is more of a stream of conciousness collection of my thoughts and ideas, there's no real cohesion between articles and updates, it is based on whatever whim I may have and wish to talk about at any moment.
I am a relatively secretive person, I don't like others getting to know me too well. However, I can give some insight:
- I love to ponder about philosophy. I'm an avid enviromentalist, and advocate for deep ecology.
- I adore music, in particular black metal, breakcore, progressive rock, and post-punk, but I can enjoy any kind of music. I aspire to be a musician as well.
- I like to draw, though I'm not too good at it.
- I absolutely adore linguistics, and am an avid conlanger and researcher of all things related to historical linguistics.
- I'm really not a consumer of much popular media or pop culture. I'm pretty behind and clueless with regard to whatever the cool new anime or tv show is most of the time.
